The East Sussex Waste Collection Partnership ran a county-wide campaign to get more people recycling small electricals through their weekly kerbside collections. Leaflets, social media, and website updates helped spread the word to over 145,000 homes. Residents were asked to bag up unwanted items and attach them to their bins for easy pick-up, with extra guidance for people in shared housing.
While results weren’t measured, the project built awareness of how to recycle electricals from home.
