Ashford Borough Council partnered with local parish councils to run six pop-up collection events with repair cafés, making it easier for rural residents to recycle unwanted electricals.
In nine months, over 3 tonnes of electricals were collected, 60 items repaired and 241 items were donated for rehoming.
