West Northamptonshire Council promoted kerbside collections and household waste recycling centres to make electrical recycling easier for residents. The project increased kerbside collections by 92 percent, boosted visits to HWRCs by 20.5 percent, and recycled over 32 tonnes of electrical items in 12 months.
Kerbside collections and HWRC recycling will continue, supported by ongoing promotion through social media, updated websites, and a new app.
