Lancaster West Neighbourhood Team installed six indoor and one outdoor electrical recycling points and hosted repair events and workshops to boost community engagement. They collected 4.73 tonnes of electrical waste, including 978 items in the first six months, and repaired 62 items. Around 150 people attended repair workshops.
The pilot raised awareness of recycling and repair. Lancaster will continue managing collection points while exploring new locations and funding for kerbside collections and workshops.
